SERVICE ASSISTANT POSITION
A Service Assistant is the customer service front line employee for Eastern Illinois University’s on-campus living. It is the calling of the Service Assistant to provide superior customer service to our residents, fellow students, and guests while upholding the mission and values of University Housing and Dining Services and Eastern Illinois University.
Service Assistants are representatives of the community in which they reside and act as the “face” of EIU Res Life. This customer-oriented position’s duties include answering phones, data input, computer inquiry, mail forwarding, filing, and, most often, assisting residents and guests at the reception counter.
