EIU D2L Solutions

How to Email the Entire Class in D2L

Email sent from D2L will be sent to the recipient’s EIU Panthermail account.  Users will no longer receive email in D2L. The only folder remaining in D2L email is the Sent folder which will contain copies of all email sent from D2L.

To send an email to all students enrolled in your class in D2L:

  1. Log in to your course in D2L and select "Learner Management" then "Classlist" on the top navbar.

  2. Select the "Email Classlist" button at the top.

  3. On the "Email Classlist" page, select the "Send Email" button at the bottom.

  4. Enter the Subject and Message for the email in the "Compose New Message" pop-up window.

  5. When ready to send, select the blue "Send" button at the top of the window.
